Saturday, March 20th, 2021
1061 Everglades Ave, North Charleston, SC 29405
9am-12pm (See details below for more information on the time)
On Saturday, March 20, 2021 walkers will safely gather in Riverfront Park or
the location of their choice for the 15th Annual Water Mission Walk for Water in Charleston.
We walk because more than 2.2 billion people around the world do not have access to safe water. In many countries, women and children walk over three miles each day to gather water for their families. Oftentimes, it’s water that is unsafe to drink. By joining the Walk for Water, you are helping Water Mission provide accessible, life-saving safe water solutions for hundreds of thousands of people.
This year, walkers will have two options. You may register for a specific time slot to join others at Riverfront Park or walk virtually at a location and time of your choice.
While the Walk may look a little different, the mission remains the same:
We walk so others don’t have to.
The walk this year will look a little different. Here's what we're going to be doing:
Please register as part of our team, Christ Our King Youth Ministry Team, when you register, regardless of if you walk virtually or in person.
If you choose the virtual walk option, you can walk on the day or any day of your choosing.
If you choose to walk in person, you walk together as a family at any time of your choosing.
When you register you can sign up for anytime between 9am-12pm to walk. There will be 30min time slots available.
Virtual Walk Adults (ages 18+): $25
Virtual Walk Youth (ages 5-17): $10
In-Person Walk Adults (ages 18+): $25
In-Person Walk Youth (ages 5-17): $10
Children Under 5 (for either option): Free
REMEMBER THIS IS A FUNDRAISER TOO!
Come up with ideas on how to raise money for Water Mission!
Since this is a family event, we will not be attending the walk as a group.
For this reason, you do not need a permission slip for this event.
